Are Fan Tokens Returning? ALPINE Crypto Soars as Chiliz Unveils New Merchandise

Oct 2, 2025

Fan tokens gain renewed interest as Chiliz unveils official merchandise auctions while Alpine’s ALPINE token experiences significant market fluctuation.

On Wednesday, Chiliz launched exclusive merchandise bundles in the Socios.com app, designed to reward engaged fans and stimulate increased activity throughout its sports token ecosystem.

The bundles, which include a T-shirt, hoodie, socks, hat, stickers, and an associated DIGITAL COLLECTIBLE, will be available from Oct. 1 to Oct. 18. Participation is limited to “Reward Points Auctions,” requiring users to bid using points accrued by earning yield fan tokens bought with CHZ.

This launch coincides with notable price fluctuations of Alpine F1 Team’s ALPINE fan crypto token, highlighting the intrinsic price swings that frequently draws traders back to this sector.

Chiliz mentioned that the “only avenue to obtain these bundles is via Reward Points Auctions on the Socios.com App,” and indicated that more releases are on the horizon in the coming weeks. Future drops may include collaborations with creators or engagement initiatives aimed at expanding fan involvement.

Could ALPINE’s Fluctuations Indicate a Broader Revival for Fan Tokens?

The company framed this drop in response to escalating community interest after earlier smaller test launches. The auction phases will commence on October 1, offering one bundle per size (S-XL), and will be open until October 18.

At the point of release, ALPINE was valued at nearly $1.52 and had fluctuated between $1.43 and $1.89, experiencing a decline of about 17%.

As per CoinGecko data, the daily trading activity for ALPINE approached $150M, illustrating the market fluctuation that continuously captures interest in fan-token markets.

On-chain participation is linked to tangible rewards via merch auctions, a long-term initiative by Chiliz and Socios for tokenizing assets associated with football teams and other organizations.

Chiliz has also remained active this quarter with various events and partnerships, ensuring that the brand continues to be prominent as the industry looks for ways to extend its use beyond trading.

ALPINE is a crypto token that has been under close observation since late September.

It surged late last week before conceding some of its gains during a quick reversal, a common pattern in low-liquidity markets, which react to shifting stories.

“Prepare to rock the chain on October 1st,” Chiliz announced, clarifying how fans can gather and bid with Reward Points by locking tokens tokens on the Socios.com app. “This is merely the start,” the communication stated, indicating that additional bundles and content may follow if buyer interest persists.

ALPINE Price Outlook: Is Alpine F1 Fan Coin Steadily Holding at $1.60 Base level?

ALPINE/USDT is currently back at a crucial level. Crypto analyst Nihilus noted that the perpetual pair is approaching price floor near $1.60 following a consistent decline from the highs of September.

Prices have formed lower highs and lower lows, pulling the crypto market down to the $1.60-$1.40 range, consistent with the 0.62-0.79 Fibonacci band. The candles indicate ongoing price floor near $1.60, suggesting dip buying continues despite persistent pressure.

Momentum is currently weak. Oversold metrics increase the probability of a short-term bounce. A decisive move above $1.80 could signal a short-term recovery and bring $2.40-$2.80 back into consideration. Until then, the larger outlook remains hazy: the chart has been on a downward trend since reaching the $3 peak.

If $1.60 fails to long-term holding, bears have the potential to push down towards $1.40. Presently, ALPINE is in a tight, crucial trading range. The upcoming price movement likely depends on the outcome of the $1.60-$1.80 struggle.
