Crypto ETFs Draw $3.69 Billion in Net Inflows for April 2025
A staggering $3.69 billion in net inflows has been invested into digital currency ETFs by investors. This signifies the first month of positive net inflows in 2025.
In addition, the total net inflows for 2025 reached $5.99 billion by the close of April, making it the second-highest ever recorded. This amount is only surpassed by the unprecedented $42.33 billion achieved in 2024, outpacing the $2.69 billion noted in 2021.

BlackRock’s BTC ETFs Set New Records with $6.2B Inflows in May
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) concluded May 2025 with impressive results. The BlackRock BTC ETF secured over $6.2 billion, marking a new record high. This isn’t just a remarkable month; it’s the best since the IBIT’s inception, which was not too long ago.
If you’d been observing the inflows into IBIT lately, it might seem like someone was continuously supplying it. The fund experienced net inflows on 30 of the 31 trading days in May, pulling in $481 million alone on May 28. Such consistency is uncommon in any investment sector, particularly one characterized by its market fluctuation like crypto.
Since launching in January 2024, IBIT has grown rapidly. Currently, it maintains assets exceeding $72 billion, ranking it among the 25 largest ETFs worldwide. For comparison, the next most recent fund in that elite group has been operational for over a decade. IBIT has only recently celebrated its first anniversary.
BTC ETFs recorded $667.4M in net inflows.
Ethereum ETFs brought in $13.7M in net inflows.
